WHAT'S THE CONSULTATION ABOUT?

 

Should you wish to delve into enhancing your short, feature, or TV pilot screenplay—focusing on aspects such as format, story, characters, dialogue, originality, complexity, production value, or effective marketing—or if you're considering revisions, this presents a valuable opportunity. By taking advantage of this, you can ensure that you embark on your scriptwriting journey with a strong foundation before presenting it to the world.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

It's as simple as it sounds! The 1-hour 1on1 consultation will be conducted on Zoom at a time that suits you best. Additionally, you'll receive a written feedback report (2 to 3 pages) ahead of the consultation.

Chris Watt

Chris is a screenwriter and script consultant, based in Scotland. A member of the WGGB and BAFTA Scotland, he is a graduate of the University of Northumbria. His feature film screenplay, THE MIRE, is currently in post- production with Apple Park Films, directed by Adam Nelson. His feature film screenplays FOLLOW UP & FR(E)IGHT were optioned by Stronghold NYC Productions in 2020, with FR(E)IGHT, directed by Steve Johnson, now in post-production. In addition to screenwriting, Watt is also the author of the novel PEER PRESSURE and worked for many years as a film journalist, contributing to Film Inquiry, Total Film Magazine and others.

Dimitar Dimoski

Dimitar is a writer and producer born in Macedonia. He has a master degree in production and a minor in screenwriting at Film Institute Ohrid. He gained his formal knowledge under the mentorship of critically acclaimed European tutors and filmmakers. He has been working on many feature and short films over the years as a script consultant, screenwriter and producer. His projects have been pitched and developed at Clermont-Ferrand, IFF Brussels, MEDIA Creative Europe and Eurimages. He is a producer at Focus Pocus Films, a company based in Skopje.

Scarlett Scott-Nadal

A graduate of the University of Warwick, Scarlett has extensive experience working in the film and television industry. She acquired her theoretical knowledge at the university and has put it to use on various projects with the UK production company The Connected Set, as well as various film festivals, including the Little Wing Film Festival and FilmBath. Having developed her script coverage abilities working with various screenwriting contest companies, one of which being Shore Scripts, Scarlett ensures she gives detailed and comprehensive feedback, with many of her reviewed scripts having either won or placed highly in competitions. Scarlett now works with Sky Studios, collaborating closely with both the comedy and drama teams.

Marco Amato

Marco graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelors in Screenwriting. He has since had extensive experience providing script coverage throughout different facets of the entertainment industry. The scripts that Marco has given coverage on in the past have gone on to become finalists and even winners of important screenwriting competitions. He is an aspiring writer with seven feature scripts and a slew of short film scripts in his portfolio. After snagging a win at the Wildsound Film Festival in Toronto, he is now working towards writing and producing his first short film.

Daniel McGrath

Daniel graduated top of his class from the Writing for Film, TV and Games program at Vancouver Film School, taking awards for Best Screenplay and Best Games Project. He has a master’s degree in film studies from Newcastle University and nearly twenty years’ experience on stage, set and screen bringing scripts to life. With multiple feature screenplays to his name as well as TV shows and shorts, Daniel currently works as a development consultant and story editor, helping writers take their projects to the next level and get them production ready.
